trim on edges of walls (cabinet dividers)

We are doing some remodeling that includes painting, countertops and floors. Our 85 Sovereign has plastic edging on the "wall" and some of it is cracked. I don't know where to get it or what it is called. Can I replace it, given that it is pinched between the ceiling and the top of the wall? I don't think I can get the old out and I am not sure that I can get a new piece to but up to the old and make the sharp turn without popping our of the channel. Any advice?

A picture of what you have would help but have you checked out Vintage Trailer Supplys options?

It's called gimp you can get it from Inland RV Center - The Nations Leading Expert in Airstream Innovations or Vintage Trailer Supply - parts and supplies for vintage travel trailers and campers!
It comes in light tan and dark brown. its sold by the foot or a 25' roll.

BTW its stapled to the wood frame so the only way to replace it is to remove the panel its attached to.

HEY....Glenrita...I recognise a bathroom cabinet from another '69...The same stuff from VTS is called welting I bought the sand colour and it matches the walls perfectly in my 69 Safari. Glenrita you obviously have your bathroom apart. Where the heck do I start taking mine apart. I am sure there is a puzzle to it...

Well guys, I guess I am not good at explaining. I am talking about the trim on the edge of the walls that support the cabinet. It is not sandwiched it is what you brush up agains when making your way down the hall of an airstream. It is T shaped probably has teeth that flair out into the chanel of the "wood" wall. I hope that makes better sense. I will see what I can do about a picture. Thanks for trying.
