Question trim?

I can't seem to get any information on the rubber/vinyl material that is stapled to the back of the plywood shelves that butt against the outer walls, nobody seems to know what I'm talking about when I describe it, Airstream included. Any Ideas?

I believe it is called "cording". It is most likely there to cut down on squeaks/chafing.

Check with an upholstery shop.

In the mobile home and RV industry, that material is called "gimp."
