Transistor Radio?

Ignore this, please. I had a question about what goes in a certain location but I give up. I can't load most photos. I read all the postings; I resized all the Kodak Easy Share Photos; I degraded the quality from Best down to Good; I transported them out of the Kodak system and then compressed them through MS before uploading but no go.

Check to see if it is below 1024 x 768. I believe that is the limit.
Don't give up!
Good luck..

Transistor Radio?

Hello, all:

Sorry to blabber my frustration about uploading photos all over the community. I finally just purchased the Adobe Photoshop program which allows me to manually resize photos according to the allocated numbers. It appears to work. I hate serving technology.

Anyhoo, I have an unknown hole in the wall. What goes there? I think perhaps a radio but don't know for sure.

a) There is a clock in the cabinet which has a battery holder behind it.
b) There is an antenna on the outside of the trailer lower than the hole. c) There are wires in the cabinet behind the clock.
d) There is a wire plug-in coming out of the cabinet underneath the clock.

The thermostat for the furnace is located elsewhere, so I don't believe that goes in "the hole".
- Any ideas?
- If it is for a radio, does anyone have a '66 for sale?

Thanks. Jesse.

Glad you didn't give up. Photos look great. Very interesting clock yo have. It was added by a PO to your Airstream. Pretty cool looking too! As for your other concerns for a radio, the radios when installed were in the overheads. What you are dealing with are modifications. I would have to check a few places to be positive, but there was never a factory radio there.

Wow, I didn't know this even posted. I go to post and keep getting a message that I am not logged in (when I am). Hurray! I am happy to know that I can finally resize photos. Thanks for the info!

In case you're still intrested...

This is the front of my 63 overlander. Notice the two black knobs (dots) on the bottom left of the overhead. That is where my am radio is mounted. It is an airstream model built by a motorolla. It has 1 speaker mounted in the inside of the overhead facing up. There are 3 holes bored in the top for the sound to travel. It looks like an antenna plug at the end of that black wire in your photo. It seems like you would need a square hole to mount a car type radio, but yours could've been a diffrent type. (Story of my life....square peg...round hole).

This is the front of the radio. (Paint job courtesy of the P O. P U).
