We just got our 1994 34ft. excella and doing a lot of cleaning and fixing up, we haven't figure out what the switch on bedroom wall is for. The one on the right coming out of bedroom. I'm sure someone will know?
I have a switch on the ceiling in the bedroom of my 85, have no idea what it controls. Have tried everything I can think of with no results. JC must have had an extra switch they didn't know what to do with.
We have no switches on our bedroom wall. The reading lights and ceiling light are independently switched, right on the fixtures. There is a thermostat, that's all.
I've got a switch on the wall just to the right of the fold-down shelf. It controls the ceiling light - if you leave the ceiling light on at the fixture itself. Hope that helps.

It should be a switch for the ceiling light, but connected in such a way that it doesn't do anything unless the other switch (the one built into the light fixture) is turned on.

Wrong thread for this answer, I think.
Usually such a lifestyle preference is indicated by the presence of unusually large numbers of Byam hooks in the bedroom.
