Sticky Walls
I recently purchased a '72 Safari and it had very sticky walls. I used the best cleaner --- 'LA's Totally Awesome'. A bonus was I got it $1 at the Family Dollar store (Amazon has it too). The cleaner also removed the old glue from the bath stickers that GooGone couldn't remove. I went through a whole bottle to clean my trailer. I'm a user for life!

Mine has the same! Must be something about the coating material ? Cleaned it off but it creeps back in places...

The secondary plasticizer in the vinyl is aged and becoming incompatible with the vinyl. It spews to the surface. Once you have it cleaned off, you need to seal it in with acrylic floor polish like Future.

Getting ready to clean and paint my walls. Should we use the Future before or after painting?

IMO any time you apply wax paint will not adhere as all dir. for all paints, state clean any wax dirt etc. before painting. Bill

I have not tried to paint over Future floor wax. I have not tried to paint over sticky vinyl walls. Future does retard the recurrence of sticky vinyl walls.
