We have a '76 Excella, rear bath. The shower curtain/door is cracked. I have seen replacement doors, BUT, I find it odd that these doors only cover about 2/3 of the opening. There is a good foot of open space, that allows the water to spray out all over the sink and countertop. (This space is great for stretching your legs out to shave

, but a real pain to have to clean this up every time you shower). The husband wants to install one of those L-shaped curtain rods and go with a shower curtain, in order to close this space off.
Anybody else have this problem? How would you attach this rod to the nice fiberglass in the shower?
