sealant?

I recently saw the YOUTUBE video of "How it's made".
The video shows an Airstream in production.
Before the insulation was applied the walls were coated with an orange sealant. What is that stuff?

I have a 1971 Airstream Ambassador 29ft.

I have removed all the interior mechanicals, appliances, furniture...etc.

I have also removed the inner walls and insulation.
Yes, rear end sag and rotten flooring....

I am at the point where I can start insulating, however Id like to apply
some of that sealant....What the heck is recommended?

I think that what you saw is a spray on adhesive to hold the insulation in place.
The inside of panel joints are coated with a grey caulking material that looks like it is applied with a putty knife.

At 2 min's, 30 sec's it shows some sealant being applied.

Is it gray silicone caulking or something else?

Thumbs up

Have used 3m 77, not for that speciefic application, but it worked very well for a soundproofing job.
