Round ceiling lights
Does anyone have any of the round ceiling light covers (with knob type switch) that would fit a circa 1970 Overlander. We just need one to complete the ensemble.
Thanks,
Ken

Ron, at South Jersey RV, replaced the round covers on our 1971 Sovereign Intl. Call him at (856) 697-9600. He might still have a few left.

I have a 1959 Overlander, am also looking for one round glass cover. Mine is 11" diameter, 1.75" deep, hole in middle for threaded rod. Is this the same as what you found at South Jersey?

These are not the same light fixtures. Yours were only in '58 and some of the early '59 Overlander models. Those will be hard to find. They are a frosted white with a small pattern of clear dots about 3/8" apart. Best of luck finding one.

I may have one in my garage. 1972 vintage. It is the cover only, with no cracks, but, man, is it brown... Anybody interested?

Brad,
Yep, that's the one exactly. I've found the same glass in 12" diameter and a little shallower, but it would have covered the switches! And I've found the right size frosted without the dots, but I would have had had to order a case!
Who'd have thought it would be easier (and it was) to find new burner noses for my propane lamps?

Lamps? You have more than one? Really cool!! Are they the Veritas brand?

I have two: one at edge of wall at head of streetside bunk, other at end of over-counter kitchen cabinets. The two together light the entire trailer VERY adequately, even for reading. You can also adjust the light quality thru quite a range. Their brand is Humphrey. And if they're turned up all the way, they take the chill off in the room!

I've got two complete 120V fixtures out of my 63 that remind me of your description. Size of a small pizza. Hope I can find them.

There should be 12 in a case. Why not get the case, install the two you need, save one (or two) for spares, and sell the rest on the classifieds here? Besides the fact they may be very expensive.

Wow, pretty lights.
Mine are different. They are surface mounted. I will take a look next week, to see if perhaps the lid is the same.

Glass for late 1950's-early 1960's round ceiling fixture
French Bern,
The ones I could buy by the case are frosted only, no clear dots. Would you still be interested? Anyone else? Mine is 11" diameter, 1.75" depth, hole in center for attaching.

I need three
My 58 Sovereign of the Road has three of these. I would be willing to go frosted. I have one of the ones with the white dots. Where can you get the case for the frosted ones?

Rob,
It was at a funny little lamp shop (run by a funny little old woman) in Austin. I remember where it was, but not the name. I'm going into Austin tomorrow and will get details and post.
But I haven't given up on the dots! Especially as I've found that glass in other sizes new.
