Rev-a-Shelf

One of the frustrations with storage is getting to stuff, and what I want is ALWAYS at the back. I had already put three of these roll-outs in what was once my "wardrobe" and now my pantry. Latest idea was to see where else these handy ball-bearing roll-outs could make a difference. First was in my "trunk" which became even harder to get to with the Fiamma bike rack. Installed two there. Then, one under the sink so I could easily access what's in the back (I did have to use a bit of hacksawing to allow for the trap), and then for the "under-the-bed" compartment. I'll be road testing these improvements later in the month. (For the highly observant, you'll see I put a compartment in under the sink for my new induction cooktop....fits perfectly.)

Perfect! I am a big supporter/promoter of that type installation.

And every one you put in just wastes space.

Aw. Don't be like that. They waste vertical space, in exchange for making horizontal space more accessible. Depends on which is more important to you.

Glad I didn't post a picture of one of my hanging lockers that I just converted into horizontal shelving....no rollouts, they didn't make them narrow enough!

LilNomad, the 28's do come with two rollout drawers. Same cabinet as the countertop/sink. I use the top drawer for silverware and the bottom drawer for "everything else"....and do have dividers in both drawers for (some) organization.
