I believe that Arlene and Henry often attend the WBCCI Rally in Florida that just wrapped up a little more than a week ago. They may have taken their Overlander to make a vacation out of the trip. When they are at one of the major rallys, it can take a few days (usually less than seven) to get a return message from them.

I'm happy with Ron, Linda, (and Buddah) at South Jersey RV

They are capable of radical makeovers, and are real nice. They let me
camp there once when I was too tired to drive. Their stock yard is like a mueseum.

Does anyone know who did the work for Ralph Lauren's custom Airstreams? See About Ralph Lauren - About.Polo.com

Now THATS what I had always thought Airstreams should look like inside. Love the Nautical and military look.

And there is also another example of some great work done by Powell & Bonnell in the March issue of Style at Home (Canadian magazine). See
MoCo Loco: Powell & Bonnell Airstream

I know I'm behind the times... LR and Powell have been discussed here on other threads...

That is nice for a guest house, but I wouldn't want to pull it anywhere. Probably too heavy and likely to shake itself to death. I also wonder about the weight distribution given that they've moved the kitchen (and thus heavy appliances) further rearward than normal and used granite and tile toward the rear.

shaking itself to death?

That P&B trailer was driven all over the place including a 3000 mile trip when I sold it to its new owner. It towed beautifully, and nothing moved cracked or shifted.

we gut, how much might it cost for someone else to replace the floor?

We have a potential 1977 Argosy, the deal is not yet done, and it needs a floor. How much do you think it would cost us to have someone else replace just the floor, if we remove the cabinets??

I don't think the whole floor is bad, just from the dinette to the kitchen seems soft and a patch can be felt under the floor in the kitchen area...

We want this camper, as it's been a long time dream of ours and the twin bed set up is IDEAL with our twin 6 year olds, but i'm thinking the floor might be way over our heads..

Thanks for any incite!

Lesley,

Once the coach is gutted. replacing the floor is pretty straightforward. There are numerous threads on the forum. Take a look before paying someone.
