Removing short wall in bath...

Has anyone ever removed the small interior wall/pocket door separating the large double cedar-lined, Wardrobe in the hallway from the toilet/vanity/shower area?

It appears that it would make huge improvement in the room of the bath area.

So it is a side bath now off the hallway and by taking out the sliding door/wall you would make the hallway part of the bathroom?
The only issue would be privacy. Do you have a separate door to the rear bedroom and a separate door at the 'entrance' to the hall?
Ours is a walk through bath (toilet/sink one side, shower/washer dryer closet other side). It has a door on either end to give privacy however it is needed and it seems to work alright.

Yes, we have a sliding door at the bedroom and sliding curtain at the kitchen side.
