so i have a 67 overlander with alum wiring and i need to remove the int skin my question is once i remove the skin can i drive the trailer from the place i work on it to my storage place which is about 15 miles each way thanks for everyone help.
Take it easy and I think you'd be okay. There will be less rigidity with the inner skin removed, so drive gently. The bigger consequences would come if somebody, 1.) wanted this to be their long term design, and 2.) insisted on driving at highway speeds.
Bob is right, there would be less rigidity, but in the end, if you didn't tow it like you stole it, you should be fine.

cool thanks very much i am going to take the back roads the whole way never getting over about 40 miles and hour. i have further instepcted the frame and it looks as if i am going to have to remove the body from the frame anyone have any have any ponters and any idea how many peps it would take to lift it off thanks for all your help
