Removing Interior Paint

Greetings, I'm redoing the interior of our 1953 Flying Cloud. I've removed the interior Panels and would like to remove the Primer and Polish some of the Panels. Does anyone have any tips, tricks or suggestions on how to loosen up the Light Green Primer. I'm assuming that it was factory applied - back in 1953. I have tried 3 or 4 different commercial strippers. They have not worked. The Primer is bullet proof and tough as nails. If anyone - (a chemist, an auto-body person, an experienced airstream remodeler), has any suggestions or experience removing the primer paint, I'd appreciate your thoughts or process. Thank you

We successfully used Citristrip on our '51, but the primer was yellow, not green.
