Removing couch in 87 Excella

Hello to all. We're new to the forum and can't believe the wealth of info here. We just purchased 87 Excella 34' and the couch has to come out and get reupholstered. Any pointers on how it's fastened and best way of getting it out would be greatly appreciated.

Have you got a picture of yours?

I have a 90 excella and just took ours out and had it covered. It was very easy to get out and fairly easy to put back in. Is yours the fold down gaucho? If so, you take the back off 4 bolts), then the seat cushion (4 bolts). Remove the screws that hold the sides. I removed mine completely so I could install new flooring under it.
Good luck,
Joe

Old and new

Looks like yours is the same as mine or very similar. It is easy to take apart. Keep all screws and bolts in something like sandwich bags and write down what they came off of. The bolts are different sizes and it makes a difference.
Here is the pic's

Ok we got the reupholsted couch back and I can't remember how the brackets go on! I should have taken some pics. Does anyone have a pic or a diagram of the brackets that go from the base to the back of the couch??

Do you mean the arms that hold the "walkover" part, or the round bracket that allows the couch to be raised?

I'll snap a couple of pictures tomorrow, and post them for you if you don't have any further response.
