Removing bathroom door/wall

We were in some friends 2000 31 foot over the 4th. They had removed the bathroom door and wall making that area open for a very nice bath/dressing room. It really opened things up and made it much more spacious. They also had removed the door to the master bedroom which gave them more walking space around the bed. As far as privacy, there is a petition next to the refrigerator which closes the back of the unit off anyway.
We are thinking of doing that in our 98 34'. Does anyone know of any reason it shouldn't be done.
