Remodeling the '76 Sovereign Closet

Has anyone remodeled the 31' 1976 Sovereign closet. If so, I am curious as to what you did. Right now I am thinking about a set of shelves to the left of the bin for pump and water and then longer shelves over part of the area where the coats go. Thanks. Joan

Yes, there's way too much closet space in all the vintage trailers. I've found that just 16-18" of coat-length closet is enough, even when I travel on business. As long as you have some hanging spaqce, I think your plan sounds fine.

Tanks for the 16-18". I think I give it 20" for guests, :0), and let it go at that. Joan

I agree with Zep. In our 75 Ambassado the entire streetside from the fridge to the rear twins is all closet space. We used to pack for the weekend in a 19' CCD just fine. What the heck are we going to do with all this cabinet space? I know Pizzachop turned his into a bunkbed, but I would rather utilize it for something else.
