Remodeling advice / input ?

Our 2004 25 foot rear bedroom Classic has just been dropped off at Jackson Center for interior remodeling and general maintenance over the next few months. My wife and I can't decide on whether we'd like to keep the current living area layout, replacing the worn out full width gaucho sofa-bed installed across the front of the unit with a new one, and keeping the existing fold out dining and computer tables OR tearing most of that out and replacing it with a convertible dinette / bed / lounge set-up, i.e. a dinette table extending from the front window, with a couch on each side allowing four people to sit at the table (somewhat like what we see on newer FB models).

If the above ideas are clear, might anyone out there have input to offer on the possible pros and cons of each set-up. We’re a retired couple, very occasionally have kids or grand-kids camping nearby, and spend an average of 6 to 8 weeks a year on the road.

Any ideas and/or comments would be appreciated. Thanks !

It's hard to know what would best meet your needs. We (also a retired couple) would probably consider replacing the gaucho sofa-bed with recliners.
