Rear bath to Center Conversion

Has anyone done a conversion from a rear bath to center. I'm assuming that I will need to build all new bath walls and such. Basically build a new rear half. What are the big problems?

Side windows are in the way. What about the tanks?

Much of the trailer I'm looking to buy was gutted in the rear. Shell looks good as does the frame. I want to do a redesign anyway so I figure saving an old shell is the proper course.

I think you answered your own question. The plumbing would most likely be a huge job, not that it can't be done, but a huge job. Secondly, a patch where the windows are unless done by someone with lots of skill would look like, well , a patch. If you find an older trailer there will be plenty of things that will take tons of your time without doing a major remodel. Personally I like the rear bath in my 68, it offers privacy from the living area.

I was looking at a 31ft 1977 three window front (drivers side) however it was gutted and a rear bath. Good candidate for a remodel, however my wife and i want a center bath.

Probably better to wait for a center bath and add a third window up front
