Unhappy Rear bath mirror!

Has anyone removed the rear swing up mirror AND hinge ! I have a rear bath and the frame of the mirrror is falling apart. It will have to come out to fix it. I thought the mirror could just be lifted out like the windows?? Does't seem to want to. I could drill out the rivets and remove the whole hinge but I am looking for an easier way!!!!!!! Tom

You'll have to drill out the rivets in that mirror. I had my mirror replaced at a place called Tap Plastics. I used a plexiglass type mirror that looks just the same as a glass mirror would look, plus its light weight and easier to handlel.
