Hi AnnieD, Someone on the forums probably knows exactly what your talking about but can you give me more information on the Airstream your referring to. Starting with the year or years and model. Thanks

hi annie'

here's a thread with both photo and floorplan.

while the dinette pic is from an older unit it's the SAME on those newer 31s...

the table is mounted to an aluminum rail/slider on the wall, so it can be lowered or moved slightly fore/aft.

there are a couple of other threads with that have the newer version pictured (different fabrics) but it would take more time 2 find them...

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f398...1-a-36458.html

since u r exploring the 30/31 (which are exactly the same size) u'll wanna consider the major difference...

which is the side (31) vs split (30) bathroom configuration.

lots of pics of those are posted as well.
____________

michelle (thecatsandi) has a 31/dinette and i'm sure she'd answer any questions you might have on that model...
____________

most SINGLE travelers skip right past the 'twin bed' models,

doing so misses some great floor plans and space use ideas.

with a rear (or front) twin layout, ONE BED can be removed and office/desk space added.

this makes a 28 or 30ft unit functionally feel MUCH LARGER and gives one multiple options for working/viewing space.

there are many threads on this conversion for a solo traveler but here's an old fun 1 with secrets inside...

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f7/b...why-20053.html

cheers

Thanks.... i feel the same way about the twin configuration. i would much prefer the twin beds rather than the single queen bed becuase of the extra space avilable.

i'll check out the link you sent me.
