Propane detector

Does anyone have experience with a "NewTec" device???

It is mounted near the floor on my 86 soveriegn. It just keeps going off. I unscrewed it from the wall, there are enough wire to hang it outside in the fresh air for a while, and it keeps going off. The only time it doesnt go off is when it is turned off. I tried blowing it out with my Aircompressor, It worked for a second then went off again.

I am ready to throw it in the trash. I would like to have a device like this ibn my trailer though. Any reccomendations??

Before you toss it check your battery and your voltage. But they don't last forever, only a couple of years.
