Juel - I see you have a runner rug on top of your carpet. How do you keep it from moving around on you when walking back and forth? My wife and I have been having the damndest problem with the same type of set-up. The runner always wants to bunch up on us or shift side to side as we walk back and forth in the trailer. We constantly have to straighten it out. Thanks, Joe
Notice the nice blends of offwhite and pink......took a long time to get the furniture just the way I wanted.....

Here is the prior owner's concept of "custom" trim.
This is what was left of the cabinet at the door where the apartment sized refrig was. There was carpeting glued to the partition, a TV mounted to the ceiling and a bunk bed framed with 2x4 materials in the double bed space.

The floors are not carpet, but wood. I use two-way tape to hold the runners in place. It is two-way carpet tape, so it would probably work somewhat on top of carpet too. You could try it.

I had planks of white oak which I moved from Iowa 20 years ago then moved to this house 18 years ago. My wife would ask why they were still stacked away and I just replied that someday I would find a use for them. Well I did and now they grace the interior of Chummy. Some of the planks were 20" wide all were at least 1" thick so I was able to redo the console, doghouse, valances, doors under the seats, and the trim stepping up onto the front section. I also removed the dinette and replaced it with the gaucho from our Tradewind. By cutting it down in height and depth it makes a nice sofa and bed at night. The former jackknife bed on the other side was also cut down in height to make it easier to sit on as a sofa. We have a trestle table which sit in the middle aisle for meals.
