Placement of Queen Size Bed in AS '68 Sovereign

We just bought an AS '68 Sovereign. I need my Tempur-Pedic Queen size mattress as a medical device (seriously). Hubby says it won't fit in front in the gaucho area (we don't have the AS in our possession quite yet for me to verify this) and I was wondering what the easiest way might be to modify it to add the queen size mattress. It's a 3/4 size mattress area for the bedroom with a wardrobe. I'd be willing to lose walking space and wardrobe space to make my bed fit. I was even thinking of tearing out and repositioning the bathroom, if necessary.

Of course, since hubby will be doing that, I'd have to show him plans of how someone else has done this before because it will be a lot of work.

Any ideas?

The other option may be to get a smaller Tempur-Pedic for the bedroom area for me to use exclusively. I'm pretty sure TP has a mattress that would fit or they would customize. Getting insurance to pay for another one for this purpose might be a stretch...

My wife and I both love our sleep number bed at home. After 3 years without it in the trailer we remodeled our trailer to take a queen size sleep number. We enjoyer the trailer before but we love it now.Dont give up. There is a way to get the bed you want. Draw alot of plans and leave no stone unturned, it will be worth it

I was thinking of like a hinged platform with a lock up brace of some sort for the front gaucho area, putting it up during the day, if needed. Hubby says it will block windows and be hard to do and doesn't like the idea of the bed being in front. I say who cares? Who is going to be in it? I just want my precious bed.....

Does anyone know if I could still squeeze by if I just put a queen in the bedroom area? I couldn't tell the dimensions from looking at the online specs...

Some possible options for the back area:

10-inch Twin XL Accu-Gold 5.3 Memory Foam RV Bed Component Sleep System | Overstock.com

13-inch Twin-size Accu-Gold 5.3 Memory Foam RV Bed Component Sleep System | Overstock.com

Just need to know the actual dimensions of the bedroom area.... ??
