Original Excella interior colors
Although I have been lurking here for a few years, this is my first post here.
I have had a few Argosy's in the last 10 years, I finally found a bargain on a 84 Excella 270. I am now in the process of bringing it back to life.
My question for this topic is, what is the original carpet color for the 84 Excella? I have a brownish Tan coloring on the furniture, but the carper is a very light blue.
Although it is an acceptable combination, the light blue color is a magnet for even the slightest bit of dirt. I spent an hour with a steam cleaner trying to get the hallway all one shade of blue.
I am not trying to restore this machine to its original state, just want to make it serviceable and not have to remove my shoes to walk inside.
So, what do you all do for keeping the carpet clean, or what do you use for a replacement color?
My 77 Argosy's used a darker brown shag carpet, and it hides dirt, but also makes the interior darker.
