Noise older vs newer models

Can anyone tell me how noisy it is in an airstream when in a campground compared to non airstream models? Additionally, do newer models do a better job at keeping outside noises out than older models? Tired of camping and feeling like my walls are paper thin.

I can't speak for other models of RV's, but our Classic 30 is very very quiet inside. The Classic has sidewall window panels that may help more with noise than lower models in the line, but owning a 27' Airstream international, we were very happy with the noise level inside also.

Of course, airstream has a lot of windows and most of the time you will want them open!

We spent 5 days in a 100% full city campground in Traverse City, kids everywhere. Then we spent 16 days in 3 different campgrounds elsewhere in Michigan with folks all around as well. We never had a noise issue in our 23 FB. The campgrounds all had quiet hours, usually from 10 pm to 7 or 8 am. The only sound we heard at night was the occasional tapping of rain on our aluminum roof, but it's a relaxing sound!
