Howdy and welcome to Airforums.com, Suzie! We would love to help you to get your Airstream in the shape you want, so ask any questions you have.
I agree, the exterior is mint! Can't wait to see the inside! (nudge, nudge, wink, wink)

The skin is far from perfect, but was told it was all in working, original condition. It's been sitting in my driveway untouched for a year. I had it towed/ pulled from Illinois and the pictures posted are the same pics that are on airstream classified. The pictures were taken in Illinois prior to my picking it up. I about fell outta my chair when I saw my trailer on the web page as a Panorama. The Safari's I've seen have twin beds in the back and this one has a couch/full bed. And the heater is on the opposite side of the door. I was happy to have found it and am now ready to start gently fixing her up.

Ha! In Bakersfield California, it's easily 110 with a dry heat, and we more than likely won't be needing too much winter heat here, but if we really venture out, possibly.

If you ever do venture to where there is snow the heater you have is fantastic. No condensation build up! We take our Airstream every weekend in winter to a nearby ski area and it is condensation city. Our friends who have a 1961 Bambi have a similar heater and their Airstream is do nice and dry inside! Their ski gear also dries super quick too...

I have a lot to learn, I'm so green! Thankfully my uncle has hookups at his
Property 15 mile away, I'm headed there to start my baby steps, figuring how to hook up and out, turning on and off, and the dreaded backing. Can't every spot be a pull through?
