Question New member question?

We purchased a 72 International 31 ft with rear bath. The plastic in the batharea is yellowed and cracked as is the front nose cone. Windows have bad lathes and bad seals, bottom hatch covers do not have hinges and thus have a curved alum. piece that nests into a piece mounted to the trailer. We cannot get a tight fit or get them to even seal good. Is there a place to get new replacement parts for this age trailer, or dowe have to fine some out pieces that are in better shape than what we have or just try to design something new. Do we can AS factory, after market warehouse, or find from AS forums.

I guess that's enough for now, I am sure we will have lots of questions as we get into it more. Currently gutting inside and saving parts for patterns and etc. Any advice or contact numbers would be appreciated!

Thanks everyone!

This model is prone to "frame separation" and "rear end sag". Use these terms in the "search" facility to gain more knowledge than you thought you needed! This is being discussed today at http://www.airforums.com/forum...ase-23099.html

Epoxy putty for the cracks and Krylon spray paint works well for the end caps. Painting the bathroom areas is being discussed today at http://www.airforums.com/forum...res-14938.html

www.inlandrv.com , and salvage yards. (use the search facility)
You will see that I have tried to answer some of your questions with answers embedded in the above quote.
Use the search facility, scan through the "new posts " each time you log-on, and ask us for matters that still aren't answered, and you will soon find the information you need. And, most importantly, welcome to the forum!
Nick.
