New Gaucho

Hello all,

I am nearing completion of an original style gaucho for my 1968 Overlander. The original had been removed and thrown away by a previous owner. My next problem:

I have the dimensions for the foam cushions from another local trailer. (Great resource for measurements and study all through this project). What do you use for the foam? What is it called? Where do you get it? What does it cost?

I figure I'll get a real upholstry person to do the cushions. However, I need the foam to upholster.

Any help is appreciated!

JMG

Try this:

A reliable outfit. I've bought many times from them for other projects, as well as for my Airstream. Get the foam that's 4" thick, and the best quality grade they have.
Good Luck

Hey You....

Oh no....Are you sure it's four inches? I had an upolsterererer
make mine out of 5 inch foam. And yes ...I measured twice.
But I measured with the fabric on. Maybe the thickness of the fabric
on both sides of the cushion added up to the extra one inch ????????

I could be wrong, but I thought the foam was 4".
Easy enough to measure it before ordering.
