How does the sleep number mattress conform to the Queen size curved mattress in the AS?

Call Airstream ((937) 596-6111) and ask Kristina or Amy for the queen mattress drawing for your specific model. They can get the image sent to you in PDF format.

I only have the drawings for the 25FB cross frame queen bed and the twin beds in the Classic.

If necessary, Rocky Mountain Mattress ((866) 733-3132 and ask for Lane Robinson) can make the exact size you would need. We have used their 8" model on the 25FB and have that thickness for the Classic.

You need to measure the height above the plywood bed frame to the side pockets beside the bed so the mattress thickness does not block access to these storage areas on both sides.

Got some new twins made for our coach last week. Company in Starke, Florida, called Call A Mattress. He told me they can do the rounded mattresses as well, and they do a lot of them for Airstreams. They were recommended by our local Airstream Dealer, JD Sanders.

Note that while the factory measurement for twins is 34" x 78", in some models there is additional space at the foot of the bed. If the mattress is shoved all the way to the rear (or front on a "FB" model) into the curved area, I could have a really long mattress for the really tall folks. In our Classic 30, we could easily add four to six inches more length.

The center nightstand on the Classic twin model would allow for a ten inch thick mattress and still be a little lower than the flat surface of the nightstand. I think a twelve inch thick mattress would be close to " above the nightstand top.
