Need help finding new bedspread

Hi,
Unfortuately, a month or so ago my 2004, 28' classic TT was broken into. Usual thing I'm sure - they stole the TV, pulled the radio out of its mounting and stole it too. They also stood on the bed with greasy shoes trying to get to the circuit breakers. The bedspread is a mess and also has a hole in it.

Replaced the TV and radio but don't know where to get a new bedspread. Can anyone out there suggest a vendor where I can purchase a bedspread for a rear queen with the diagonal cut corners? I would like to stay with the original material if possible.

You may have to go through a dealer, but I would think you could order one from Airstream, Inc.

Sorry to hear about the break-in.... What in the world did they want with the circuit breakers??? And, how did they get in?

Which pattern was your bedspread?

Classifieds

Consider putting an ad in "want to buy" section of the classifieds here. Perhaps someone else has your same spread, never liked it and didn't use it.

If your interior is Cocoa, I have just what you need. Converted from queen to twins and still have the spread.

Answers to TT break in questions

  • They pried open the front window by bending the locking devices, somehow I thought that couldn't be done. Ripped open the screen, pulled down the curtains and winndow shades fron the brackets.
  • I think they stood on the bed looking for the DC on/off switch or for more stuff to steal. I know they found the switch cause the gaucho drawer wall pulled out, all the way out, because they broke the drawer guides, still need to replace them.
  • The color scheme of the trailer is called champagne according to the paper work. Bed spread is light colored, almost like a creamy beige. I guess coaco might be right . . .

Sorry to hear about the breakin. It makes me sick to think of someone doing that.

We recently purchased exact fit sheets from AB Lifestyles AB Lifestyles Home Store Home Page and they are perfect and outstanding quality. They make them custom to any Airstream bed. My wife was very pleased with the quality and they were lower in price than going directly to Airstream. They might have the bedspread you need.

Good luck getting your AS back to normal.

Describe your accent pillows and we will know for sure.

They may be tanks, but they aren't vaults....

All of this really sucks! I guess, where there is a will and the time to accomplish it, nothing is 100% safe. However, like you, I thought our trailers were fairly secure. It's a shame they managed to do so much damage, and my sympathies are with you. I have learned something from your bad experience....

Good luck on your bed spread search....it sounds like there are several ideas here for securing one!

Contact the factory, they sometimes have ample stock of scheme colors and fabrics.

Bummer

I am sorry that happened - what a bummer. Where was your trailer when the creeps broke in?

Hope you can find the bedspread - looks like some promising leads have been offered - let us know how it turns out.

This is what the bedspread and accent pillows look like. Maybe someone out there has an extra bedspread like this. . .

Not many folks have spares laying around....

Factory most likely still has this...did you call them? If not, give them a call first thing Monday. I am pretty sure you could have it shortly after your call.....
