so today was the day that i started my project. it started about two months ago when i bought him on ebay, purshased and drove to palm springs and aquired my crazy insane project. so i brought it home and finally today i started. i got the belly pan off and the interior skin. so know i am really exicted so anyways just wanted to share my excitment. oh and by the way it is a 1967 overlander it is 26 feet trailer that is in much needed tlc. so i am going to try and post so pics so bare with me untill i figure it out. oh and one last thing any one ever fiberglased over the org black water tank.
still working on getting pics so these are not the best ones but they are the frist ones i have uploaded and the next one will be better. talk to yall in the next couple of days

Ah yes, the smell of a new project is in the air! Exciting stuff, and I have mixed feelings. I'm happy for you that you got the trailer and are going to be redoing it the way you want it, and I'm also happy that I've already done that and am now just doing the maintenance stuff that happens after useage. You can have a lot of fun redoing a trailer and then using it.

never gets quite "exactly right" -
looks good when cleaned and spruced up -
expensive to keep and maintain -
may require extensive body work -
does not do well with rough handling or abuse -
really difficult to figure out -
maintains a certain attraction you can never quite define....
But then again, that's just me.

so since my wife is putting up with my insanty i gave her the project of giving it a name and she very quickly came up with mcstreamy so i guess he is a he from know on. any ways i have more pics i will post later. thanks for all the support and talk to yall later
i have started to work on him two afternoons per week and at least one day over the weekend. so here are some pics from tues night before the coronas started mysterly dissaparing form the ice chest (funny how that happens). any ways i am going back to work on him tommorow night and will get some updated pics. but just to give you a taste here are some pics of what i in for, and by the way the pic of the coupler you see is much better looking than what i found under/above the belly pan.

I must say, seeing that coupler makes one shiver at the fact that whoever did this thought it was acceptable. You can't help but wonder what's coming down the road at you when you see stuff like this. Love the pic of the dogs, they look like they can't wait for you to get your butt in gear and get the trailer done so they can go camping and in the meantime they can provide you with a wealth of advice.
so i went up to see my baby and take some more pics. this is the frist time i have seen the int. in the daylight since i took it apart. these pic kinda suck but the best i could do. it is amazing to see how many rivets have pulled out. i am also supprised to see that the back of the bucked rivets are just slightly mushromed. so any ways this weekend i will clean the inside and install the new fans and start the sheetmetal patches anyway thanks for all the help and support
just wanted to add has any one ever seen a flatened abs vent pipe like this. it is not only flantened but also curved and hidden in the wall. kinda wiered and cool at the same time
