Modify dinette for sleeping in 19ft Bambi

I have just acquired my Dad's 2007 19ft Bambi. My husband, myself and two young daughters, age 4 and 7 will use this camper, a little small but it works well for us so far. We have made several trips and find that we like the functionality of dinette but also need it for sleeping our daughters, which works for now. Wondering how I could make it a better sleep surface. Has anyone made any modifications to improve this as a sleep surface? Eventually it will need to be bigger or wider but for now both girls fit the space. I would consider making it a perm. sofa style if it gained us overall sleep and sit comfort, but I do like the table option. Thanks.

You could get a memory foam topper and cut it to shape. It should roll up and be stored. Stuff some batting into the cushions to plump them up.

You might consider adding a bunk and ladder above the rear bed, that Airstream offers as an option on the later 19's. I imagine they will sell you the parts or you could make your own. Here's the floor plans for the Flying Cloud models, look at 19 bunk, and download the brochure for a picture.
