It took my Dad and myself four months to gut and rebuild. The trailer was in great shape and did not require much major repair.

Thanks for checking it out!

Excellent work. I personally think these sorts of renovations will continue to add value and desirability decades into the future, beyond what the time capsule original reno's will (though my trailer is nearly all original and I love it!)

Would you mind sharing appx investment in $ and appx man hours? When you say 4 months, are these retiree months, 40hrs a week months, or nights and weekends months?

Thx

Great job! How did you get the interesting photo effect? Doesn't appear to be a simple zoom in/out of a photo; looks like the perspective changes. Almost like video camera on a rail. Interesting. Thanks.

Looks good. But more importantly, is it parked within walking distance of the Garden Lounge?

Looks fantastic. Thank you for sharing. I really like the decisions you made. Quick question for you. Did you put a pull out couch in the front? Was it very difficult getting that through the door? I am debating refinishing the existing gaucho in mine, or replace it with a new pullout. I'm also concerned about tongue weight. Thanks again for posting!

Beautiful reno! Is it still roadworthy with the full size appliances?

Hey! I don't plan to get my money back in labor but at least in materials invested.

I purchased the airstream for $7,600.00. I lived in it for over a year in original condition. So you can imaging I had a lot of time to think about a floor plan.

I put an additional $10-$13K into remodel. I would hope I could manage to resell for $18-$20k. The exterior still needs a lot of work.

I kicked off my project by taking 2 weeks off of work and put in 12-14 hours days. Got a lot of the prep work done. After that my dad and I would work on it on the weekends from July to October 2015. The trailer was in great original shape so it didn't require major repairs of the main systems. If I were to estimate man hours we both contributed about 250-300hrs.

Thanks for the questions!

Hey!

I'm using an automated slider with my 5D MKIII. It's actually all video. The slider and automated motor attachment are from Edelkrone.

Thanks!

Nice Tundra! My Tundra tows like a beast.

That unit on the wall is actually a dangerously placed bio ethanol fireplace that kicks out some serious heat.

Get this, the washing machine is also a dryer. An all in one machine.

Definitely not designed to travel as it is to live comfortably in one place.

Thanks!

This trailer in no way easy to travel with. It was designed as a semi permanent home. I've transported it over 500miles with everything packed securely and all appliances strapped down and made it. It will get down the road but with lots of shipping preparation.
