Maxxfan/ fantastic fan

Just wondering if anyone has any pics of the interior of these fans post installation. I know that Vintage Trailer Supply sells a kit that has a curved fascia that is supposed to be a better fit on the curved ceilings. My airstream is a 79, and when I look at the ceiling in the center, it doesn't really appear to have that much of a curve. Any thoughts?..

Let's Go!!!!!!!!!

Goodness Gracious, a Fellow Mountaineer!

I have three of the Maxxair Deluxe Vents and love them. Made a real nice install. I will try to get you some pics and post on here.

Everything I've heard about Fantastic Fans has been great, but I went with the other ones because you can run them open in the rain and not worry about them, nor be reliant upon an electrical sensor to close them to keep water out of the coach.

See ya,

In my 2014 I could have used the fantastic fan interior trim on the MaxxAir fan. It was a perfect fit. I don't know if that translates to a '79

I just replaced my FF and added two screws to the garish? to pull it up a little in the middle.

I was told by FF they had changed the chemical makeup of their plastic to make them more flexible than what they used in 2008. They still caution not to tighten them down too much.

I haven't had any experience with Maxxfan.

I can't show you it installed but I can show you what it looks like. I ordered it thinking that I'd trim it back if the curve is less pronounced.
Sorry it's a lousy ipad picture , click on it to enlarge it and you'll see the curve.

hey,
Don't hold that against me. Most people bleed green and white down this way. We might just have a team this year!
