Magnum MMS Series Inverter Error Message

Hi, I recently bought a 2016 Interstate EXT and am not getting power from the inverter side of the unit (Circuit 4). The house batteries had power after I ran the engine, but seemed to deplete quickly, even when I was plugged into shore power.

I replaced the batteries and thought that would solve the problem. It has not.

The Magnum inverter remote control display shows the error message "Fault! No Comm" and the red light is light. I've followed the owners manual's advice and reset the remote display. That did not fix the problem.

Can anyone suggest what else I can try? I am currently in Reno, NV and there is not an Airstream dealer here.
Thank you.

2016 Interstate EXT - Magnum MMS Inverter Error Message

I had the exact same problem and troubleshooting results as described by Harmantick in his post.

With a volt meter, I discovered the coach batteries had 12+ volts on the brass battery connectors, but zero or virtually no voltage detected on the battery cable connector right at the battery. I removed the battery cables, thoroughly wire-brushed and cleaned the cable connectors (they didn't even look very dirty or corroded), added electrical conductor lubricant and re-installed. Problem resolved!

This was a lucky find and fix. I'm posting hoping to help someone else with this challenging issue.
