Liquid Stainless Steel?

Found a link to an interesting item, Thomas' Liquid Stainless Steel, and did a search with no results in the forum (that I could find). Has anyone ever used this product? Results? There could be many applications for it. Google the above and you should be able to find it with no problem, even some reviews from outside sources.

First thing I might try it on is the uuugggly frig, not original, in our '68. But who knows. It also might be interesting over our previously painted, by PO, interior that I am now stripping at a rate about equal to what polishing takes to do! About 2 sq. ft per hour. Mainly just posted to see if anyone had used it and other ideas that might be in all of these collective brains! I know it ain't aluminum, but it might work well on the stove tops and other SS parts.

I followed the link above, and watched the "appliance" video. Looks like it might work. I think I will try it on my old white (read original) range. I just hope it doesn't look like I painted my stove with silver paint...

Hmmm...might be just the ticket for making items "fit" the aluminum look...I love that metallic look! Don't stand still...you might get painted!

Rivet liquid Stainless Steel paint?!

Just stumbled across a VERY interesting product - liquid stainless steel paint!

http://www.liquidstainlesssteel.com/

The product website says this paint is 100% stainless steel, has automotive grade durability, and can be used inside or out.

Anyone have any experience with this product? I can think of numerous possible Airstream related uses:

resurfacing my cabinet doors (will have to sand and use primer first as they are some kind of plastic) - should be MUCH easier and cheaper than the FXSheeting I was considering

use on the exterior of an Argosy if you want to try the shiny look

interior wall paint if you like the "new" look

updating older appliances if you don't like their color

I could even paint my plastic shower if I prime it first - cool!

interesting. will let you know if I try it

I have an old frig in the garage that I can practice on, so I ordered the $19.95 range kit to try out. I'll let you know if this is really something that works. Looks too good to be true.

It looks interesting, but I would love to see some real life testing - some of the examples in his infomercial didn't look that great.

Make sure and post plenty of pictures and testimony on how it looks and holds up.
