lift shocks for bed

I changed out my twins for a queen bed. I found a queen in an old classic mh at colaw salvage and used it as a pattern for my new one.I am having trouble finding the correct lift shocks for it.If any one has any ideas or has a part # I would appreciate it.Thanks.

hi joel

depends a little on what year/model a/s was the donor moho....

IF you want an exact a/s part.

these gas shocks are rated by pounds they can support....

so how much does your bed/platform weigh?

camping world carries them and ANY rv dealer who sells/services any moho brand...

can order a suitable shock...

at the airstream site the moho bits are listed by year, back to 1998 or so...

Airstream :: Customer Services

there are also instuctions on using the parts catalog, hyperlinks and downloading....

but again any rv dealer will have a parts book and can order a suitable lift/shock...

as a side note, the model used in my 34/queen will barely support the bed and sheets....

add a comforter and memory foam pad, 4 pairs of shoes and a tool box or 2....

and it all comes right back down....

cheers
