We have a new 16' International. The bottom of the kitchen cupboards is curved, not a useful surface on which to store canned goods, spices, etc. Has anyone found a way to make this space more useful?
There should be a flat bottom insert in your cupboard. The curved area is a dead space with electrical wiring an fittings.
There should be a bamboo patterned light plywood insert in each overhead locker. They have a bottom and two end pieces.
They are in a contrasting color to your upholstery. My fabric is orange and my cabinets are lime green. The other common combo is blue fabric with orange cabinets.
Your PO may have removed the insert due to excessive damage.
The inserts can be ordered through Airstream. You could also make them yourself or have them made by a cabinet shop. You can get a parts catalog with cut-sheets at Airstream.com.
By your posting, it sounds like you may still have the bottom in the cabinet over your dinette. The kitchen should be just like that.
