Is it possible to have a comfortable convertible couch to bed setup?

We currently own a 1967 International Overlander with the couch that converts to a double bed. We like this layout BUT can it be comfortable ?

The camper had no cushions when we got it so we need to buy new.

I'm also wondering how much of a pain in the butt having to make your bed every night will be (We could leave it as a bed most of the time and still be able to get to the bathroom).

We also plan to put a sleeper sofa out front for extra guest. Any sugestions for a comfy sleeper sofa ?
Thanks in advance for your help.
