Internal Navigation Tools and Techniques

Greetings,
My wife and I travel in a 25 foot, Flying Cloud. It's interior length is about 19-1/2 feet.
Have any of you established some tools or techniques to easily, jointly, and pleasantly, navigate your interior space?
To complicate our issue, we also travel with two, medium sized dogs.

Not really sure what you are asking but I usually walk upright on two legs and use my eyes to see where I am going.

I tried masking tape right down the center of the trailer, but she keeps moving it during my naps.

We got used to traveling a bit in a 2009 Casita 17' fiberglass trailer before we got our 25. Now that small narrow trailer required some specialized workflow.

I'm usually up in the morning before the wife so I am usually outside or at the rear dinette when she gets up to brewing coffee. We have a small dog and try to keep her up on the side couch or on the bed of our 25fb when we are busy in the living area but sometimes she has a mind of her own. Most of the time she likes to sit outside. We don't seem to get into each other's way when cooking is performed as the kitchen offers some space for someone to stand while the other walks to the front to use the bath or bedroom. Not sure if you have twin beds, we have the queen and we are going to convert to twins this winter to allow more space in the bedroom area and better access to overheads. The more you use it the more you will start to accommodate each others moves in the trailer.

Procedures? No. Dance? Yes.
- We have a 27' EB and have noticed that we have a sort-of dance we do in the galley area, but if we stop to think about it, it doesn't work. Doing the dance sure determines how well the relationship is working! In the house, I dance to her tune, but in the AS we either sing harmony or my tune (because I intuitively understand physics). The friction only comes when we are packing up and I ask that things be put where they will stay put as the trailer moves, and that she not leave truck doors open while I am hooking up!

It just works for the two of us so adding dogs and their stuff would be a challenge. To get the day started we decide the night before what clothing we need and set that out so that you're not lifting the bed up in the morning while your honey is sleeping. Then first up gets uninterrupted time in the 'spa' but, hey, there's a time limit on that! The other one is making coffee etc then you announce 'COMING OUT' and trade places! We eat together and then one of us does 'inside' chores while the other does 'outside' - you do need a little alone time after all - then there's nothing left to do except find something fun to enjoy!

Practice, Practice, Practice!!!!!!!!

Think of it as an opportunity - - the dance concept is good one and while the doggies create potential complications, just keep practicing.

We are over 50 years into this RV traveling activity and we still have to practice

Seriously, when in doubt, an announcement of movement intentions goes a long way to preventing spatial conflicts - - dogs aside.
