Internal dimensions

Hi All

What are the internal dimensions of a 26' overlander and what sort of radius is the corners.

I would like to start re designing the interior and as we don't have one yet I cannot measure it myself

Thanks

They vary from year to year ~ do you have a particular one in mind or just in the "dreaming" stage?

We are in the dreaming/planning/looking stage.

Most of the ones in our price range tend to be early sixties

Because we are in the UK we just have to wait for the right one to turn up on the UK market

We are going to be living full time in it so I want to start planning out the interior with that in mind.

We have been full timing in a motorhome of similar dimensions for over 7 years so we know what we want in the airstream I just need to fit it in

I've taken some measurements from my '61 Overlander. I'm not sure how useful they'll be to you though. I'm in the planing stage myself and I'm surprised just how much the design will be influenced by the wheel wells along with the tanks (black, grey and fresh).

My measurements are by tape and are rough but I intend to use them in Sketchup much like others have done to get a design model. Let me know if you need something specific.

Inside length 274", inside width 85" I didn't take the corner radius yet but IIRC it's close to 22". (excuse the Imperial I've been away from the UK a few years now).

Thank you very much for that

I would love to do a mock up in sketch up but my main weapon of choice in these matters is CorelDRAW

Maybe once I have an idea of what I want I will do a 3D version in sketch up

The windows can play a big role too...

Very true, I think I might even end up patching over the rear most roof vent too! Still there's plenty more winter months for planning...
