Interior walls sweating in cold

I received the hypervent product and installed it moments ago, take a look:
















Prior to installing the hypervent I ran heaters on the mattress and damp wood until I was convinced it was dry enough (all morning). I then used kitchen-aid scissors to cut the hypervent to fit (very easy to cut but I recommend wearing gloves).
I will give this a couple of weeks before I pull it up and take a look. Already I do notice it is easier to slide the mattress around atop of the wood (not necessarily a good thing) and the sheets tend to catch on the curly plastic when making the bed.
Regardless I am excited and am hopeful this will solve the issue.

I wonder if putting down some that non slip shelving liner would help stop the mattress slipping around? Or a bit of double sided carpet tape?

I noticed the screen needed cleaning but upon closer inspection, the unit needed to be defrosted.

Well, It may not be a good idea to run your New Air AD-250 on a non-stop basis. I thought the interval period would be sufficient enough to prevent freezing but it seems I was wrong. I believe this is after a solid-two-weeks of run time. I have it thawing inside the house, in the shower. The unit still pulled more moisture out of the air than I expected, despite this impediment.

That's one of the reasons why I got one of these as well.

An update on the Hypervent! So far it has been an incredible improvement. BUT, since my wife and I full time in ours there seems to still be a slight moist feeling on the wood to the touch. Temperatures have been between 30 and 48 Fahrenheit over the last 2 months+. We keep the AS about 65 degrees. The hypervent has proven to keep us warmer and the wood cooler so as not to cause as much condensation. I did flip the hypervent over (opposite side pictured in the images I uploaded), this helped prevent the mattress from sliding when brushed up against.

Thank you for taking the time to share all your "breaking-in" issues with us. It's been invaluable to us.

I'm writing because it's been almost 6 month's since you've posted the above update on the Hypervent and I am wondering how it has worked out for you? Did flipping it over help with some of the condensation that continued and also with helping to prevent the mattress from sliding?

We haven't purchased our 27FB yet but we are hoping to within two years.

Off topic here but just wondered:
1) How are you liking your floor plan choice?
2) Are you finding that you like the pano windows in the bedroom or would you consider adding the closets in there?
3) Does the outside storage next to the propane tanks get on your nerves or do you deal with it? The poor design of outside storage bothered my husband but perhaps it's not that big a deal?

Flipping the Hypervent did help to reduce the slippage, I currently have the fabric side down against the wood. When I put the sheets on I wrap them under both the mattress and the Hypervent so as to not snag. There is absolutely no moisture build up most of the year, the coldest part of winter is much harder to prevent accumulation from happening but the Hypervent is a miracle!
We love our floor plan and wouldn’t trade the bedroom panoramic windows for anything, even if the alternative is a little extra storage. For us, our own night stands are worth more than the closets that would otherwise replace them. You will realize just how much you love the panoramic windows the first time you take it out to a local that has a 360 stunning view. It’s amazing.
I especially like the FB because it let’s us remain hitched up to my 1986 F-250 (which rides just slightly higher if not perfectly level) and have absolutely no decline towards our head. Of course this could be accomplished by also raising the jack while leaving it hitched but if you are just stopping in to sleep for a night and want to unpack as little as possible, this works. There are other reasons we love the FB too, the way the door lines up with my siblings homes & driveways, etc.
The outside storage does not bother me at all. I have never really experienced anything different on a trailer though. I am considering putting a toolbox in the back of my truck so I can easily access the gear I need to maintain our trailer. All we currently have under that front storage is outdoor carpet, mats, towing tools and locks, extra fuses, outdoor shower, extension cords, etc. All of which is easily accessed items. I keep my hiking shoes in there too.
