interior trim around door removal?

I need to take the interior panel behind the dead bolt lock out. Looks like take off the window trim ring and the door trim ring and drill out the rivets. My question is how do you remove the interior trim ring around the door that laps over the interior panel? thanks in advance for any help.

Bill I'm not sure if your a/s is the same as my 73 but I'll tell you how mine is attached. The trim ring is T shaped. The top of the T is the face you see from inside the trailer and the leg of the T inserts into a groove in the door frame and is held in place with Timerman clips. Mine was also riveted in from outside of the trailer through the inner lip of the outside of the door frame. Once the rivets were drilled out you can pry out gently on the trim ring and it will pop free of the clips. You need to pry in several places to free it from the clips. I've attached a couple of pics. The first is the back of the trim ring showing the leg of the T and the second shows the slot in the door frame that the leg fits into.
I hope thias helps you.
Chris.

Yes, that helps a lot. I see the rivets around the door frame. Mine looks the same as you describe. PO added a wooden floor so I have to get enough clearance around the bottom of the frame for it to come out. Thanks very much.
