Have fun on your project!
I was debating removing the curtain tracks and valences as well, but am somewhat hesitant because I wasn't sure how much the curtains help reduce the chill in the winter. Thoughts?

Most likely they do! Also, as another member advised me, there are gaps in between the blinds due to the curves so for true privacy you might want something in between them. As my husband will attest, I am apt to sacrifice practical for pretty. During those moments we want privacy, I'm just going to lay a towel over top of blinds!

Caroline,
We have had our trailer for 12 years..... we have now totally gutted it......took it to the factor in Ohio....left for 5 days....went to Niagara Falls...then picked it up ...they had totally rewired...put all new interior aluminum walls...mounted ac...fans....lights...
This is the year to finish...cabinets...upholstery...etc.

We are headed to the Academy in New Mexico in May. Need to recharge.

Janet

Yes, I've been thinking about those gaps. Surely someone has developed some kind of track that keeps the blinds in place while allowing them to slide easily.

Janet, sorry you need the recharge! I might agree as we tackle the exterior renovation. I am dropping my baby off next week for exterior work and hoping she doesn't need a new axle. Hang in there! It is all worth it. My little girl and I napped in Sylvie Sunday and it was our first "adventure". Looking forward to the years to come!

I am a bit over my head at the moment, but I am willing to consult if someone wants advice. I will say that I have a strong modern bent so if that is not your style we may not be the best match.... Ultimately, design the space you feel relaxed in....that is the key!
