Interior Remodel Finished (I think)

We removed the curtains, carpet, side tables and gaucho. Made new table, removable side window shades, put in new vinyl floor, and added two comfy chairs. I think we're ready for summer excursions!

I begin to doubt I shall ever have my remodel "finished". I do quit, from time to time, though.

Let us know how it works out in practice - what you particularly like, what you would do different, etc.

Wow, it looks great. What kind of flooring is that?

Thanks! We're happy with it so far. I'll let you know what works and what doesn't. I know we'll miss the storage under the gaucho, but we always packed more than we needed anyway...... Stehpanie, the floor is vinyl squares, self sticking. Originally we wanted cork but thought it would add a lot more weight. I think the vinyl will work well with the animals.

We're leaving Tuesday for 4 1/2 months of travel. We're trying Verizon's internet service with our cell phone, so hopefully the connection won't put us to sleep and we can visit the forum. I don't post much, but I love to lurk.

Love the chairs. Have to show the boss. What do you do for a table.

Table is behind the chairs, which swivel. It is plenty deep for place settings and laptop. We curtained it for access to electrical, and hides tie down straps for chairs. If we have company, we eat outside. If company comes inside there is seating for four, using the ottomans as seats. Chairs are called Stressless, from Copenhagen and are extremely comfortable - great lumbar support.

You mean the shelf under the window or are you hiding it under the fabric. The boss likes it.
