interior panel rivets

I need to remove a couple of sections of the vinyl clad interior panels in my '85 Sovereign. Does anyone know the size and a source for the replacement rivets? They appear to be simple pop rivets, but I would like to get the ivory color if possible.

I have seen them for sale at the rallies when Airstream has a store. You may wnat to check at your local Airstream dealer. I have been told the best bet if those are not available is to wipe the alumimum rivet with alcohol and spray with ivory appliance paint. You may need to touch them up with a small brush after installation.

I bought a huge box of white rivets from a place that sells commercial grid ceilings and drywall. I think it was a box of 500 rivets and it was cheap, like twenty bucks or so. They are more white than ivory but are so small you can't really see any difference.

BTW, did you know, I never did, that "POP" rivets was a brand name?

I have also seen the white aluminum ones at Home Depot and Lowes.

Some Airstream dealers or service centers carry all the colored pop rivets that Airstream uses.
