Interior End Cap ?

I have a 1991 34ft Excella and the interior end caps are made of some type of plastic with wooden cabinet doors. I noticed this past weekend that on one side of the end cap at the upper and lower corners of the door two cracks have started . Along time ago another airstreamer had a similar situation in an older trailer and that person drilled a small hole at the end of the crack to stop it from spreading. As I say that was a while back and I am wondering if that same procedure would work or I would appreciate any other ideas. Thanks Davis

Yes it will help. The endcaps are thermoformed thermoplastic and stress cracks do occur. By drilling the hole that will distribute the stress and hopefully stop the crack from starting again on the other side of the hole.
