Four people. Hasnít been used in many years.

Yeah, maybe you shouldnít have bought the first one you saw.

Donít just wait for daylight but try to let some time go by as well.

Nothing is final or forever. Somebody somewhere will want this one if you decide you donít.

If you remain in doubt after giving it time, sell it before you invest more money and emotional energy.

Even if you lose a few hundred you can look upon it as the small cost of getting re-focused on what kind of 24 or 28 footer you really want to rebuild.

so I found the path of least resistance was to buy a 1970 safari. the wood is in good condition and it's got a rear bed area and much larger seating up front. I also really dig the windows that are up way high, sort of like sky lights. were those an option? is there a special name for them? and I've heard this floor plan called the "pullman" bath. is that the correct term?

I'll get some pics up soon.

They are called VISTA VIEW Windows and are again widely used in contemporary Airstreams.

There were/are problems with the 1970's versions.

Many, many threads here on Vista View windows and how to repair them. Here is just one of them.

I like them a lot and hope I can install them in my 1976 Argosy.

The oval high windows are called Vista View windows and they were an option. I have them in mine and except for the peeling of who knows what between the double glass, they are very nice. Many people have had problems with leaks caused by these windows, I have not. As far as a rear bed, I have not seen one in a 70 Safari, where is the bathroom?
