Kathy, the issue is the quality of the foam that's inside. The previous two posters above (and yours truly), actually put in different "stuff" to sit on. I did two recliners in my 28' Intl, but that didn't solve the problem of the cheesy foam that was used in the dinette (both the seat and back portion). The solution is to find a supplier for higher quality foam. As part of my recliner project I tried using some of the memory foam that Costco sells as a mattress topper. Unfortunately, it's not as thick as the A/S foam. One solution would be to use memory foam and then add a second layer of another foam on top. I haven't tried this yet, but it's on my to do list.
