Help

Hello to all, I am new to this forum and the airstream crowd. I just inherited a 64 ambassador 28 footer that needs some T.L.C. Any help would be highly appreciated. Currently my problem is both the pullout beds are too far gone to use for patterns to rebuild. Does anybody have a blueprint or a good drawing or even be willing to take some good pictures of what they are supposed to look like. Thank you

Welcome to the Forums!

Post a picture of what you do have; If it looks close to what's in my '67, I can take a few pictures of mine that may help.

We have a '64 GlobeTrotter that has the side Gaucho (pull-out bed). You can take a look at our website (link below) and see both it and the front gaucho that we removed in the 'During' section.

Another good link is: http://globetrotter64.home.att.net/gouchol.htm Shows the pull-out portion.

If you want additional pictures, let me know specifically what you want via PM & I'll send them to you.

Congratulations & enjoy your new project!

Shari

Help

Greetings 64Streamer!

Welcome to the Forums and the world of '64 Airstream ownership!

My '64 Overlander should be quite similar to your '64 Ambassador. If you need photos of the front lounge, I could take several views before this weekend rolls around. If you need photos of the center twin beds, I can also provide photos of those, but from your description it sounds like you have the center double arrangement which would be quite different from my center twin.

Good luck with your Ambassador!

Kevin
